1 Timothy 6:6-8 Contentment

But Godliness actually is a means of reat gain when accompanied by contentment. For we have rought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. Our life isn't really meant to be lived self righteously; the past years I've been lIvins for myself, whether it' working to pay rent or pay for my car none of it was important. God took everything from me to show me how much these things weren't priorities. When I wasn't satisfied I tired to find more things to appease my thoughts. I went o s hook for psychology and dropped out only to try chool again three years later because I felt like I needed a degree too feel accomplished and never have to enter survival mode again. Now I'm in a discipleship school program and I feel more accomplished than I ever have in my life. I'm not living to survive or please others, my life isn' my life to be lived, god is my creator and I'm meant to live for him only. I will remember to be thankful and for a reminder of these things I will pray and seek verses of his promises to me and I will apply and write them down.
