Perserverance Revelation 1:9

Revelation 1:9

I, John your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of jesus.  John was imprisoned on the island of Patmos for his faith in jesus christ and the word of God, but that still didn't stop his.  Eventhough his faith Caused him to be exiled he never gave up on his faith in God. Imprisoned for his testimony and faith, this makes me think about the measures I'm am willing to encounter for my faith. Just think of life as a thousand hurdles that you have to jump over, by the time you get to your hundredth hurdle, you can barley breath, your legs are numb but you have that adrenalin rush  to finish the race. You can't accept defeat so you prosper and by the time you get over that last hurdle you collapse. Life is all about jumping over those hurdles, trial and errors but after you get over those many obtacles you collapse and lay it down for god. Having immense faith in God is hard but keeping that faith even in the hardest of times just like John I don't know if I truly understand that yet. For my application I will pray with Ana just this faith on this journey and to be able to lay it all down for God.
