John 3:7 KJV
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
This is the ultimate question that Nicodemus asked, “how can a man be born when he is old?” It’s the same question that some of our family members may deal with, and the same question that some faint believers may deal with. It was the question I had in the beginning of this program, and didn’t know how to ask it. To be born again means that I see Jesus; to be born again through the Holy Spirit. John 3:8
[8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Being born again and allowing the spirit to manifest in our lives will be evident. We cant see the spirit nor do we know where it will go but we can feel the Holy Spirit in our hearts mind and soul. Our life will be different, and we should seek peace and pursue it. In order to enter the kingdom of heaven we must be born again with the spirit, we must understand and truly believe that Jesus is our lord and savior. New life exhibits itself through repentance and unconscious holiness. We tend to ignore this truth and sin consciously because we aren’t allowing the spirit to move in our lives. If we are truly submitted to God then we will sin less and have that evidence in our lives; it’s a choice to sin or not to sin. It doesn’t state that we can’t sin, we aren’t perfect but if we are truly in the spirit then the evidence of that will manifest itself. Like David for instance, he chose to commit adultery and murder; he wasn’t walking in the spirit even though it was apart of him. But because of this there were consequences and he lost his first child, committed in sin. David was anointed and blessed with the Holy Spirit but still displeased God. God left David for a time but never gave up on him, and David knowing it was wrong submitted to these consequences. Our example of “A man after Gods heart” fell into temptation as we all do but it is a choice, are we a going to continue to chose the spirit or our flesh? As God forgave David we are forgiven and now have the chance to repent of our sins and truly be reborn again. Because of Jesus Christ we have immense grace and understanding and we must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God and we must chose the spirit to manifest and take over our lives. We must continually die to ourselves, let go our our rights and pride. I will pick up my cross and follow Jesus Christ our savior.
