“Has my arm shortened?”

Proverbs 15:10 A stern discipline awaits him who leaves the path; he who hates correction will die. Starting a new journey in life is breathtaking and I’ve been in this process of retraining my mind and thoughts towards Jesus. I find myself only wanting to be in his word and I tend to shut out the rest of the world. That soon lead to a dry patch, but the lord didn’t let me dangle there for long. The lord always corrects those who follow him, we don’t get away with anything. Whether  it be skipping devotions or stirring up strife, he never ceases to pull me back in. I was so focused on the word that I didn’t have the passion for him. I am apart of the body of Christ and if I’m not working properly the whole team will suffer, we need to be in it as a team. I know This week specifically was lovely indeed, he pointed out “Arise” to me, and I was baffled. He showed me that the work he was doing in me has just begun, and he will not stop until his work is done. He wants us to remember the good that he has done, and to hold on to those memories, stern discipline truly awaits; his arm hasn’t shortened. Kids club this week stole my heart and God prevailed. Correction, I’ve found it to be good and those God has set before me I know that I can trust. We must not fall victim to old habits and we must stay in his word, with an open heart on receiving.
