Who the Son Sets free is Free
Romans 8:1 Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus
I find myself lately dwelling on the mistakes I've made in the past or I just replay them over again so I don't repeat the same mistakes; this kind of nature only makes my devotion to God more vulnerable. Instead of me realizing that God's still the author of my book and I am still growing I often find myself in condemnation. Who am I to condemn myself when I am free Indeed? This is a verse he gave to me, instantly I was reminded of the cross of calvary and the sacrifice of the perfect lamb. God sent his only son to walk in the flesh of a sinful man so that I may not die to sin, so that there is no condemnation for those who are in christ. That doesn't give us an excuse to not walk righteously, we are constantly in the race of dying to self and sometimes the flesh may win, but with that we shouldn't be in condemnation; it truly defeats the purpose of the cross. We don't deserve this grace and ultimately didn't do anything to deserve it, he was slandered, crucified, mocked and ridiculed, so I don't have that right anymore. Walking with the Lord is a means to lose all of your rights for the greater good, for an eternal purpose; to be in rememberance of these things I will make a bookmark with this verse. "Who the Son Sets free, is free indeed"
