•Content in this life of treasures•
1 Timothy 6 6-8
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.
These verses are very valuable, in this life as believers we should be content with what the Lord has given freely. Whether it's being content with food and clothing, but these things to me don't really matter. Although I am appreciative with what he has given me im simply content because I know I have eternal life dwelling in me. My life isn't my life so just being able to serve the almighty God is enough for me. Even through the times of brokenness it's hard but always at the end it's worth it. I'm content just being here in Guatemala and Eventhough I don't know what the future holds and I let my flesh go to work, I know I am content with this renewal of life. I'm happy just being an heir to the thrown and knowing that his promises are true. It doesn't matter who we are in this life or what we have only that we remain content in his promises. Here in Guatemala I get to teach kids English and they get to learn about the bible, what a great thing to be apart of. Seeing the graditude and thankfulness on their faces is just a mere glimpse of happiness I get from just being there with them. The lord has granted me this opportunity for soul salvation and ministering to those who are less fortunate than me. With all of that being said I'm am so happy and content with doing my Father's work.
