•The promise land•

Revelation 21:4 KJV
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

In a time like this I can’t help but think of the families that were effected by the volcano, and how they are mourning. How love must turn into fear and doubt into hate, I’ve never known such a tragedy. But God, he is faithful to fill us with joy when we need it, he is faithful to show himself even in the worst of circumstances. For the former things are passed away, how great it is to not be seen for the mistakes we’ve done or the hurt we’ve caused but to be seen as a child of God. 1 Corinthians 13:13 and now these three remain faith, hope and love, but the greatest of them all is love. A breath taking love note from our father, love is what we have to give, and love is what we have to show. In times of struggle, regret and temptation we get up and love, my life as a sacrifice to show love. The promises that we can cling to are that there will be no more sorrow, no death nor crying, this world is temporary and that God is in control. 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. With God we have new life, former thing are forgotten and we are forgiven.
