•These Bones•

Ezekiel 37:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God , thou knowest.

 Ezekiel given a vision from God about the nation of Israel in a Valley of Dry Bones. God asked Ezekiel if these bones will live and he answered “only You know”. God told Ezekiel to prophesy telling the bones to come alive; ligament to ligament, bones and flesh into human form. The bones still had no breath they needed the divine breath of God to come alive again; and so it was done. A nation that was dead, had no hope of resurrection; but God spoke, it will be done; restoration will come for the nation of Israel. We are much like the Israelites, we are God’s chosen people but we often wander away from him like the lost sheep. I was dead and now I am found; I ignored God for many years but he never gave up on me; he gave me life when I felt no life at all. Ezekiel 37:11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. In many ways I felt cut off from this world, like I didn’t belong and sometimes I still feel like I don’t belong. I constantly listen to the lies in my head; and I feel lost. God wants to bring us all to restoration; he wants to fully restore me but much like sheep we are stubborn. And after restoration an army of believers will arise, being here in Guatemala I’ve seen this army first hand I am apart of this army. In Christ we are alive.
